Classical music

Classical voice

Starting age: 11 to 13.

In singing, your instrument is your own body, so studies begin with breathing and posture. In lessons you learn the basics of voice production, breathing technique and interpreting a text, and develop your sense of pitch, rhythm and musicality.

The repertoire includes songs, musical theatre numbers and classical songs from different periods. Songs in foreign languages are introduced gradually, and the meaning of the text is always part of the interpretation.

We recommend starting at the age of 11 to 13, because the voice changes quickly during puberty and benefits from guidance at that stage. It is also perfectly possible to start as an adult or later in life.
