In pop, rock and jazz singing, the aim is to use your voice in a versatile way and find your own interpretation. Alongside technique, students practise singing in different styles: pop, rock, soul and jazz each use the voice differently.
The microphone is part of the instrument. Microphone technique, keeping the right distance and working with a PA system are part of the studies from the start, as are performing and singing with a band. It is also possible to start singing as an adult.
